Yes I do, especially juniors whose parents understand the importance of a fundamental foundation for a repeatable golf swing that produce lasting results. The first step is to set up a meeting to chat about your son's/daughter's golf lesson history and goals. Whether it is just to play golf for fun or to play competitive junior golf that will lead to university golf scholarships, we have a program suitable for you.
Yes, a lot of the adults I teach are actually members at different private golf clubs like Shaughnessy, Point Grey, Marine Drive, and Quilchena. I really appreciate their effort coming to Musqueam Golf and Learning Academy to continue taking lessons from me and trusting me to help them with their golf games. Oftentimes, it is just a quick check on their fundamentals as they all play very good golf already. I offer half hour lessons and I help them out with video analysis of their golf swings, FlightScope Sessions to check their ball flight numbers, short game ( sand bunker play, chipping, and green reading ), and On-Course Lessons. I teach beginners as well and my objective in teaching beginners is to get them to enjoy the game of golf. I offer a package with 10 hours of lessons and in these lessons, new students learn the basic fundamentals of the full swing, chipping, and putting. The last two hours of these lessons is often spent on the golf course playing 9 holes.
It is highly recommended that golf clubs are properly fitted to the golfer to prevent any bad habits in the golf swing. I do my club fitting session using FlightScope, which is a launch monitor that utilizes 3D Doppler Radar technology to track ball flight and club motion. I use this data to determine the proper combination of club head, club shaft, club length, and lie angle that best suits your swing type. I will then give you the options available to you in order to enhance your golf experience both on the practice range and on the golf course.
